(x) As Queens of the Stone Age’s Villains World Tour comes to a close, fans in Tasmania were treated to something extra special —

The band performed an exclusive, intimate one-off acoustic performance at Mona’s Nolan Gallery – and now we can reveal that the show generated over $20,000 in funds, to support Hobart’s Royal Hobart Hospital Paediatrics Ward.

The day after the show, the band made a special visit to the hospital – dropping off presents, and presenting monies to staff, and showing their support for a city close to the band’s heart. Josh Homme even took along his mother-in-law, mum of rocker and wife Brody Dalle-Homme.

QOTSA’s tour comes to a close with a second Melbourne show tonight, followed by shows in Adelaide and Perth. Act quick for final tickets!
